Jewelry Care

Our jewelry is made with great detail and care.  We encourage you to take extra care when wearing it daily and recommend taking your jewelry off when washing your hands, showering, sleeping, and sweating. 

Gold:
We use a heavy micron gold plating process meaning there is a substantial amount of gold covering each piece.  While gold is tarnish resistant, it can get dirty or smudged. To care for your Daughter Jewelry, we recommend cleaning it with a very mild soap.  You can use a soft brush or cloth but avoid using an abrasive material as it can scratch the gold. Be sure to rinse and wipe clean. Avoid contact with acetone as it will damage the finish.  It is unlikely for you to experience a loss of gold plating.  If you notice the golden layer wearing thin in the first 6 moths of your purchase, we will be happy to fix it for you free of charge.

Pearls:
If you have a piece that contains pearls, extra care should be taken. Cultured pearls are precious jewels and should be treated accordingly. Cosmetics, hair sprays, and perfume should be applied before putting on pearl jewelry. Wiping the pearls carefully with a soft cloth will remove any traces of these substances.  You can also wash your pearl with mild soap and water. Do not clean cultured pearls with any chemicals, abrasives or solvents.
